At
a typical worship service at First Christian Church you will experience
a time of worship and praise led by the praise team including both hymns and contemporary music styles.
Sunday morning services are at
9:00 & 10:30 am
in the PowerHouse
Communion - All Christians are invited to
examine his or her life in view of Christ's sacrifice of His body in the
bread and His blood in the juice. Jesus gave us this memorial to
call our attention to the price He paid for our sins, death on a cross.
Offering
- Those who have committed their lives to Christ give out of love and
support to the ministries of this church. If you are planning on
visiting please do not feel obligated to give, it is our foremost desire
for you to know Jesus Christ.
Baptism
- You may witness a baptism in one of our worship services. This
great event is part of a person's decision to commit his or her life to
Christ. Immersion in water symbolizes the death and burial of our
old life without God, resurrection from the water symbolizes our new
life as a follower of Christ.
Message- Senior Minister
Rick Wheeler will bring you a message from God's Word and challenge you
to examine your walk with Christ while giving you hope in God's love for
us.
Invitation-
At the
conclusion of every service we offer an invitation. It is for
those who want someone to pray with them, who want to join First
Christian, or to give their life to Jesus Christ. The invitation
is not limited to the few minutes at the end of the service each day.
If you would like to talk to one of our ministers about your
relationship with Jesus Christ, becoming a part of this church body or
some other need you might have, please contact us. We would love
to visit with you and help you in any way we can.
Audio tapes of Sunday
morning sermons are available through the church office.
